Green Valley School FOOD DRIVE !

Oct 13-16

Children in Green Valley School will be able to bring their non-perishables with to school! There will be crates for the non-perishables in the foyer of every cohort entrance.


 (Bins at Grunthal Grocery, MCC Thrift Store and churches for those that want to donate, but don’t have children in Green Valley School.)

Non-perishable food items…

Canned Food (Fruit, meat, vegetables etc.), Granola Bars & Protein Bars, Puddings, Juice Boxes, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Cookies, Crackers, Rice, Soup, Peanut Butter, Pancake Mix, Pancake  Syrup, Zoodles etc., Sidekicks, Chunky Soup, Cereal, Sugar, Hamburger Helper, Juice, Vegetable Oil, Ketchup, Coffee, Popcorn/ Chips, Jello, Cake Mix, Flour, Oatmeal, Pork ‘n Beans, Kraft Dinner.


Shampoo & Conditioner,

Baby Food & Formula, Toilet paper, Laundry Detergent, Diapers, Feminine Hygiene products.

Once we have received your request, we will contact you  with your number and a time for you to come pick up your hamper.

To Our Food Bank Clients


The next number of distribution days will look quite different from what you are used to.

In light of the current COVID-19 Situation, we are implementing a few changes immediately.

  1. There will be no admittance into the hut. Food hampers will be brought outside. Please use bathroom facilities prior to coming to the food bank.
  2. Please respect a 6ft zone around all volunteers and clients of the food bank.
  3. Please be patient as this will be a learning experience for everyone.
  4. If you know of others that use the food bank but do not have social media, please let them know that there will be changes and to be patient with our volunteers and other clients.
  5. There will be no inside registrations. However, if you are new or need to re-register, a form may be sent home with you asking for information. Please do your best to fill out the information and get it back to us at the next distribution, via Facebook Messenger or Email.
